Our varieties of sorghum seeds include:
  • Grain sorghum: Also known as milo, this variety is grown for its edible seeds, which are used for human consumption and animal feed. It's drought resistant and can grow in many types of soil, making it a popular choice in arid regions.

  • Brachytic Dwarf Forage Sorghum: A new variety of forage sorghum that's generally shorter than conventional varieties, usually less than 6 feet tall. It has short internodes, giving it a leafy, lush green appearance.

  • Popped sorghum: Whole grain sorghum that can be popped into small, white kernels, similar to popcorn. It's low in calories and high in nutrients, and can be used in snack bars, granola, salads, and desserts.

  • SC Smile: A brown sorghum variety with a mild taste, high yield, and good tolerance to rust. It has a maturity period of 3 to 3.5 months.

  • Commercial dual purpose: A common variety of fodder sorghum that can be used for both grain and forage.
